(26th January) Driinking with Paul and Kim (and Cory)
So I finally get to catch up with my friends who are back from Malaysia on holiday, after a year away. And it's like we were never apart, really. I guess the internet has a big part to play in that - we can keep up-to-date with each other's lives quite easily. Still, it's good to see them in the flesh. And the impression I'm getting is that in the next 6 months to a year, a lot of my friends will be moving back here. I'm looking forward to it.

And I took along a photo of my American to show them, and they were all impressed. Becuase it was framed, it ended up sitting on the table while we drank. (I think there were a few toasts made in its direction). Hopefully next year we can all drink together for real.
